Your household technology help desk
No question is too basic.
A slow computer. A confusing new phone. Wi-Fi that won’t connect. You don’t need to become a technology expert—that’s what we’re here for.
Virus removal & PC tune-ups
With your permission, we connect to your computer remotely to help remove viruses and malware, perform PC tune-ups, and troubleshoot software and performance problems.
Wi-Fi & home networking
Guidance with routers, wireless connections, printers, and devices that won’t connect.
New-device setup
Help setting up computers, phones, tablets, accessories, and the technology you bring home.
Phones & smart devices
Support questions about smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming devices, and smart-home technology.
Email & password guidance
Assistance with sign-in problems, account settings, software installation, and common email questions.
How-to help & remote support
Phone consultations and step-by-step guidance, plus remote computer help with your permission. We can discuss suspected hacking or compromised accounts and, with authorization, join three-way calls with companies. Our remote access software is required on all plan-covered computers for ongoing maintenance and support.
Know who handles what
Phone & remote support from New Technology Support.
We help with everyday questions, suspected device hacking, remote virus removal, PC tune-ups, and guidance when an account may be compromised. With your authorization, we can join a three-way call with a company to help you explain the issue and work through the next steps. For bank-account concerns, your bank confirms account activity and handles disputes.
On-site service and hardware repairs are handled by our parent company, Computer Doctor. Plan-covered repairs remain subject to the coverage and eligibility terms below.

Is this part of Computer Doctor?
Yes. New Technology Support is a subsidiary of Computer Doctor, created to provide ongoing technology help for seniors and others who feel left behind by modern technology.
Does unlimited support mean unlimited hardware repairs?
Unlimited technical support covers unlimited household devices and technology questions. Hardware repair labor applies to up to four approved and registered devices per household, subject to the 30-day waiting period and plan terms. Parts are billed separately, plus applicable sales tax.
When can I start receiving help?
Your account is set up within 3 business days of signup. Technical support begins when you receive your welcome onboarding email. Hardware repair eligibility begins after a 30-day waiting period from that activation.
What do I need to register my devices?
Follow your welcome email instructions and provide each covered device’s brand name, model, and serial number within 72 hours of receiving the email. This gives our team time to document device information. Registration must be completed before a hardware repair request can be submitted.
Can I cancel, and does the plan renew?
The residential plan requires a 12-month agreement at signup, with no cancellation before the initial 12 months. It renews automatically unless we receive your written cancellation request at least 30 days before the auto-renewal date.
What technology can I ask about?
There are no technical-support category exclusions: we provide support for all things electronic, limited only by our expertise and knowledge of the product. Hardware repairs have separate device limits and exclusions described in the terms and conditions.
Can I call before signing up?
Absolutely. Call 1-334-478-0778 for more information and help understanding the plan.
